Stove Top Tomatoes With Dill

Ingredients

3 Cups Cherry Tomatoes

1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Salt

2/3 + 4 Tbsp Cup Fresh Dill (chopped)

5 Large Basil Leaves (chopped)

1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

Directions

1. Wash and dry the tomatoes, and set them aside. Bring a shallow sauté pan to medium heat, add in the olive oil, 2/3 cup dill, salt, and pepper.

2. Once the oil and dill are fragrant, add in the tomatoes, cover, and let sit on medium-low heat for 8-12 minutes. Once the tomatoes are soft, use the back of a fork to smash about half of the tomatoes down, this will create the juice. Allow the tomatoes to sit on low heat for 7 more minutes.

3. Remove the tomatoes from the heat, and top with the extra tbsp of dill and the basil.

4. Serve with a fresh loaf and enjoy!
