Asparagus
Ingredients
1 Bundle of White or Green Asparagus
1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
Directions
1. Fill a deep sauce pan with water and add 1 tbsp salt. Bring the water to a light simmer.
2. While the water is coming to a simmer trim the ends of your asparagus.
3. Once the water is simmering add the asparagus to the water and cook for about 5 minutes DEPENDING, on the thickness of the asparagus. If the vegetable is on the thinker side cook for longer and vs versa.
4. Once the asparagus is cooked add it to a dish and top with olive oil, 1 tsp salt, and pepper.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
