Salmon

Ingredients

  • 8oz fresh atlantic salmon

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp dill

  • 1/2 tsp herbs de provence

Method

  1. Mix the lemon juice, salt, dill, and herbes de Provence in a large bowl until combined.

  2. Remove the skin from the salmon and slice it into your preferred-sized pieces. Place the salmon in the lemon juice mixture and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. While the salmon is marinating, heat a sauté pan on low with 1-2 tbsp of olive oil.

  4. Once the salmon is marinated, transfer it to the hot pan. Cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or to your desired doneness. Keep the pan on medium heat and pour the leftover lemon juice mixture into the pan with the salmon. Let it simmer for 2 minutes before removing the pan from heat.

  5. Let the fish rest for 5 minutes before serving. I like mine over rice with a drizzle of Sriracha.

  6. Enjoy!
