Lemon Cardamom Loaf

Ingredients

2 Cups Flour

3/4 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

3/4 Tsp Cardamom

1/8 Tsp Cloves

1/8 Tsp AllSpice

1/3 Cup Sugar

2 Eggs

1/2 Cup Almond Milk

1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter (melted)

Zest and Juice of 1 Lemon

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan with butter.

2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cardamom, cloves, allspice, and sugar.

 
 

3. In the bowl of stand mixture whisk the eggs, almond milk, vanilla, lemon juice, lemon zest, and butter together.

 
 

4. Once the wet ingredients are mixed together slowly start to combine the dry ingredients into the wet. Mix on low just until combined. You don’t want to over mix.

 
 

5. After the batter is combined add it into the loaf pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the center is soft but not wet.

 
 

6. Remove the loaf from the oven and allow to cool for 20 minutes.

7. Serve with a cup of coffee and enjoy!
