Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 3/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease two 6-spot donut pans with butter or coconut oil.

  2. In a large bowl sift together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add in the sugar and whisk.

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer combine the eggs, milk, and vanilla. Whisk on low and slowly add in the butter. Mix until smooth.

  4. Using the paddle attachment slowly start to add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and combine until smooth.

  5. Using a piping bag add the batter into the donut rounds. Place them into the oven on a middle rack to bake for 15 minutes.

  6. Remove the donuts from the oven and dust them with the cinnamon sugar mix. Serve warm or store for up to 3 days after baking for the freshest taste! Enjoy!
