Dutch Oven Loaf

Ingredients

2 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour (Unbleached)

1 1/2 Cups Warm Water (145°F)

1 Tbsp Salt

2 Tsp Instant Yeast

Directions

1. In a large bowl sift the flour and salt together. Add in the yeast and whisk.

 
 

2. Start to pour the warm water in the flour mix. Mix with a spatula until well combined.

3. Cover and let rise for 4 hours in a room temperature area or, in the oven on the lowest heat setting (80-90°F) until the dough has doubled in size.

 
 

4. Preheat oven to 450°F.

5. Once the dough has had time to rise, place it on a floured surface, fold and shape. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

6. Place your dutch oven (or oven safe pan of choice) in the preheated oven with the lid on for 30 minutes.

 
 

7. Once the pan has been preheated remove from oven and place dough in, on parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on and 12 with the lid off.

 
 

8. Once baked remove from oven and let cool for 20 minutes before serving warm. Enjoy!
