Pesto
Ingredients
60 Basil Leaves (3 cups)
3 Garlic Clove
1 Tbsp Salt
1 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Tsp Pepper
1/2 Cup Toasted pine nuts
Directions
1. In a small pot of cold water add your peeled garlic cloves. Place on medium heat and bring the water to a boil with the garlic in the water to blanch. Repeat this twice, starting over when the water comes to a boil.
2. Add the basil, blanched garlic, oil, salt, pepper, and pine nuts in the blender and blend on high, until creamy.
3. Remove the pesto from the blender and add it to your favorite dish. Pasta is a go to for me!
